Foliar fertilizer, in simple terms, refers to the method of foliar spraying to supplement nutrients to plants. Common elements include nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, boron, magnesium, and other large, medium, and trace elements. Most elements can be solved through underground fertilization, and foliar supplementation of boron, calcium, molybdenum, selenium, and other elements will be better. Therefore, the use of foliar fertilizer needs to be flexibly controlled according to different elements and crops.
For elements supplemented through soil, such as macronutrients and micronutrients, foliar spraying can be used 1-2 times during critical periods, not too much, such as potassium dihydrogen phosphate. If used excessively, the skin may become thin and the fruit may crack.
For foliar fertilizers with low plant demand but important elements such as boron, calcium, molybdenum, and selenium, they can be used throughout the entire growth period of plants, preferably 4-6 times from germination or flowering to fruit harvesting. For vegetables, foliar spraying once every 5-10 days is better.

Many people use foliar fertilizers, but if the effect is not visible after 1-2 uses, they do not use them or continue to increase the dosage. In fact, for element supplementation, it is better to use them in moderation and multiple times, and not to use too much at once
For foliar fertilizers, we can grasp them appropriately according to specific situations, among which boron and calcium elements are very important. Here, we suggest that you choose boron calcium foliar fertilizers containing organic acids, which will have better effects.
