The nutrient elements needed for normal growth and development of plants can be divided into essential elements and beneficial elements; There are a large number of essential elements (also known as major elements) and trace elements. Essential elements refer to plant nutrient elements that are necessary for normal growth and development of plants and cannot be replaced by other elements. Under normal circumstances, plants absorb carbon dioxide and CO2 from the air through leaves for photosynthesis. The optimal concentration (when the sun is sufficient) is 0.1%, while the average concentration of CO2 in the natural air is only 0.03%. Plant photosynthesis is far from reaching the optimal state. Low temperature, little light and no ventilation make crop carbon deficiency more serious.
